On Sunday, 3 June, the lovely Olive Tree Cafe on Symi (upper village, Chorio) is having a party to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and lovely Jenine and Tina invited me to show my jewelry on this occasion! A part of the proceeds from my sales will go to Symi Animal Welfare. I'm so happy and excited for this wonderful opportunity to show my jewelry at such an amazing location!

Δίαιτα πριν το καλοκαίρι;;;; Γιατί;;;;

I turned a placemat into a display for simple glass earrings... It looks nice! I love repurposing things! :)

I love sitting in this lovely cafe-art gallery in the Old Town, and sipping my Greek frappe! The atmosphere is just dreamy, and I love having a chat with lovely owner Alexandra. Definitely a place to daydream a few hours away! You can see more pics on the cafe's website.

Here in Rhodes, I love working outside! :) So I moved my little working space outdoors!

I made some simple earrings with gold leaf lined glass beads and small red and yellow glass beads...

The beginning of the summer season is so beautiful here in Rhodes... The beaches are still deserted, and it's so peaceful! The sky is postcard-blue and it's very windy.

This is a lovely artwork I found on yesterday's walk on the beach... A group of friends made this, and they all signed their names on the pebbles which form the frame for the lovely ship. I hope no-one destroys it, it's so sweet and pretty :) If only they knew their artwork has been featured on a blog and their beautiful memory made last forever! :)

Hello from Rhodes, my friends!!! Inspired by my upcoming trip to the Aegean, I made these sea-inspired pieces when I was still in the Alps! Seashell beads embedded in turquoise polymer clay, with tiny ceramic beads. They will be rings! Would be great to sell them here in Rhodes! :)

I'm getting my "traveling shop and workshop" ready for the Aegean! My next post will be from Rhodes!

Καραβάκια σε καουτσούκ, με πλεκτό δέρμα, με λάβα, με περλίτσες, με ημιπολύτιμους λίθους!!!!

Exactly like my beloved Rhodes is always in my heart even when I'm far away, my beloved mountains will follow me to Rhodes... they are always a part of my heart!!! ♥
These photos were taken on my Tuesday walk...
