New in my Etsy Shop: SUMMER IN THE PROVENCE RING

Here's my new painted ring! I painted a wooden hear with acrylic colors and I left it unvarnished so as to achieve a natural look and highlight the natural structure of the wood. This ring is smaller than most of my painted rings, great for people who love wearing artful and unique but not-so-large rings.
I named it SUMMER IN THE PROVENCE as it reminds me of lavender fields and lavender-color shutters in colorful Provencial villages...

I have just discovered this new creation by QaraQul and I immediately fell in love!!! As a passionate lover of color, I am truly amazed by the richness of color Katerina was able to achieve! It's just wonderful, isn't it? And what a beautiful texture and feel! Its name? She's Like a Rainbow!

I LOVE BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!

I like to think of myself as a "pagan worshipper of Beauty". I love Beauty in all its forms. I love to see Beauty in nature, in colors, in a breathtaking landscape, in a moving sunset, in an animal, in a flower, in the shades of the sea... and... well, in a beautiful human being. My Treasuries these days were dedicated to Beauty.

Experimental Jewelry: THE PRINCESS NEXT DOOR

I love experimental and unconventional jewelry! I've recently started a series in which I'm featuring jewelry artists who work with unconventional materials and techniques, and who see a ring or a pendant as a canvas to express their art and creativity.

My featured jewelry designer today is Tina from Athens, Greece, who works under her own brand The Princess Next Door. She creates wonderful and absolutely unique and colorful jewelry using papier mache that she paints in vibrant colors. Each of her creations is a one-of-a-kind piece of happy and colorful jewelry that really stands out of the crowd! As a passionate lover of color, I can't help falling in love with Tina's amazing creations!

MY MOUNTAINS!

One of my favorite spots during these hot summer days is a beautiful mountain lake on the French-Italian border. It's at 2000 m height, and you always find some refreshment up there! And a breathtaking landscape... I took these pics on Sunday, after a long and glorious sunny day.
