FLAME

My latest creations are full of passion! They are a hymn to life, passion and joy. The colors are hot and Mediterranean, the design recalls Mexican folk art. I painted them in bright, vibrant colors and glazed them so as to bring out the design in a dimensional way.

MY WALK IN THE SNOW

It snowed all day on Thursday, and these pictures are from my walk in the snow on Friday... I love nature and my mountains! They are so inspiring to me. I'm really lucky to live in such a beautiful environment!
The last picture shows my hand on the snow, I wear a beautiful ring with green enamel that I bought last summer in Greece. The green on the snow makes me think of spring that is not far!

Featured Today: SHARDS OF ORIENT

I have always loved archaeology and ancient civilizations... and I love the Greek Islands of the Aegean! These passions come together in my SHARDS OF ORIENT! I had already been using the technique of mixing white polymer clay with blue deco sand for some of my rings... the final result reminds of stone or ceramic, and that was perfect for my Greek ceramic shards! The beautiful ceramic shards emerge from the "stone" like pieces from a crumbling mosque... Don't these pieces look like ancient finds from a long lost civilization?

The upper pictures are rings, and my favorite piece is the pendant... I love it so much that I guess I'm going to keep it for myself if it doesn't find a buyer soon :)!

SUNNY DAYS TO COME!

It's still winter but slowly slowly spring starts being in the air... Sunny days to come! I LOVE suns as a motif for my jewelry, so here are two more suns I just created combining acrylic paints on wood and polymer clay!
