Our Weekend....

Good Morning my friends!!!

Happy new week! How was your weekend? I hope your batteries are fully charged!!!

I have to admit that even thought I have heard about Instagram, I never used it so far. I have seen from my friends so many amazing photos sharing from Instagram, so I have decided to give it a try. And I love it!

So what I have to share with you??? Beautiful and Memorable moments from my weekend!!!

-A wonderful purple gift from my princess... priceless of course!!!

-A great walk with my hubby in Athens's Centre and of course the delicious hamburger I got with Gruyere cheese, red peppers and an amazing sauce with sweat onions!!!

- An entertaining theatre with dolls that I have seen with my princess and a couple of great friends! We enjoyed it so much...more to come I hope!

- The racks in my princess room... yeap we finally put them on their place! I love how the room looks right now... and the handmade crochet we decorate also, made by my friend Akamatra, is really unique and gorgeous!!!

- A cup of hot decaf coffee with my family and a few good friends!!! 

Pleasures are so simple to find them, but they create so beautiful memories and feelings that you always want to have! I hope more to come for everyone!!!

A walk in Parnitha... Forest Lover!!!

Hello my friends!!!

It seems that I am in great mood for walks and excursions a few months before having my second baby. October is a beautiful month to visit the forest, since the colors are simple amazing and the weather is hot enough.

So last weekend we had a small walk on Parnitha, a mountain near Athens. The weird thing is that even thought there are many great places to visit in Attica, I never did so far and now I am trying to visit as many as I can. Good friends, comfortable cloths, great mood, a few snacks and we are ready!

So our first stop was a small lake and my daughter loved it. Ok actually it is a tiny one, but at least we had the chance to see ducks, turtles and a swan! I have to say that next time I will carry more bread, since my princess feed them with our bread! :)

Since we wanted to get a better feeling of the forest, we moved to a beautiful, peaceful, and full of trees glade and we had a great pick nick. Having a short walk in the forest paths is really something unique. I felt like Aragon will appear in a while... yeah ok... at least I was expecting Aragon from Lord of the rings and not Tingerbell as my princess did. And yes, we spend 30min walking around to find her! Guess what...we didn't!!!

What I love most in the forest is its "microworld" , its "details" , its amazing creatures, plants and colors! My camera macro is what I loved here... so what if it is small?You still can admire it!

So, weekend is near, plan a small excursion with family and friends and have a great time. After all this memories last forever!!!

Walk on the beach...

So yesterday there was really an amazing day here in Athens. Hot with a great sun...so it was the perfect opportunity to go for launch by the sea. a favorite place of mine, a small tavern just 2meters away from the sea. 

So we dressed up, we took my daughter's games for the beach, we prepared a coffee and we were ready. Half an hour later we were drinking cold beer and we were tasting fresh fish. The sun was hot, the sea was calm and my daughter just jumped into the sand and start creating small wholes and cute towers... it was just amazing. 

Ha...you already know that I am a good food lover and since I am from an island I love fresh fish and every delicious  from the sea. So we had small salt cod, perfect also for my daughter (it has almost none bones) and fresh fried shrimps...so delicious!  Our launch has ended with really ravani with vanilla ice cream! just amazing! 

A short walk by the sea is always something that relaxes me and you can never imagine what a beauty you can discover on the beach....

Does not the last one looks like a felt bead???? hahaha... incredible...natural felt bead! unprecedented nature!
