A beautiful Lilac Wedding!!!!

Hello my friends!!!

Monday today and a new week starts. But yesterday we had an amazing time to my cousin’s wedding. Well actually not only a wedding but the happy couple also baptized their beloved young girl. I am not going to post pictures of them, as they do not wish it, but I would love to show where the wedding took place.

A beautiful land full of trees and beautiful colorful flowers, while the grass put more color to the image. The wedding’s and baptism’s colors were white/ivory and lilac (light purple) and I think that it was simple and beautiful. The couple just took advantage of the trees, so they hang satin ribbons and the pool and the grass and the beautiful cute corners of the place.

Gorgeous white lanterns, satin ribbons,  beautiful fabric just made the place so romantic!

The wedding performed in the small chapel, that was a little bit exalted.

The tables were decorated with aromatic white and lilac roses (my favorites) and lavender, which made the place to feel with amazing aromas

and the table with the wish book, very beautiful, romantic and with many candies and sweets for the really young guests

We had a perfect time, we laughed, we danced, we dreamed…. We wished every happiness to the lucky couple and our best wished to their young princess! I hope my beloved cousin to have a lifetime full of love, happiness, smiles, wishes, emotions!

Monday MoodBoard - Floral Mood

The past weekend my little girl was sick, so despite the fact that here in Greece today is a religion holiday, unfortunately we could not go the short excursion we have planned. No problem at all, since it is better to stay at home and have my sweet Nefeli feeling better.

So instead of sitting in the house and just drawing or playing with the dolls, I bought a few small plants that my Nefeli helped me to dibble. We do have a great time in our small balcony, full of smiles and laughs and yes our mood improved. So what if we stayed inside? I was with people I love and we had a beautiful moments!

That's why my moodboard today is full of flowers.....

If you want to check more moodboards, please click on Estella's blogSorry but I have to go...Nefeli is waiting for me to finish the dibbling!

A!!! Do not forget to participate in the giveaway of my blog with the amazing crafter Eleanna!!

Have a wonderful new week!

DIY - Handmade Hair Clips with Buttons

Hello my friends!

Last weekend I did a cleanup in my daughter’s drawers and I found too many hairclips and elastic accessories damaged, without the decorative charms or with color missing. I think this is something very common. Why go through them away? Just check below an easy way to “refresh” them and made them look like new again.

So first of all I had to find how to decorate them and I searched for common materials. And guess what I found…buttons! Haha funny ? Buttons, cords, small wooden beads from old accessories and an ivory satin ribbon that I use for packaging gifts. Great stuff indeed. I needed also a scissor and of course hot glue.

Now with all these stuff just use your imagination and create different charms and embellishments. I created a few... stacked buttons and glitter glow on them, a small bow from the satin ribbon and a margarita button stichted on it, a big neon green button and wooden beads tied with hot pink cord, a round button stacked with a heart one and a round button with a yellow margarita pattern stiched on a small piece of the satin ribbon. I am sure you can create even more beautiful designs!

When the embellishments are ready the only thing left is to stuck them with hot glow on the hair clips or tie them on the ponytail elastic or even stichc them.

The result was really beautiful and my daughter loved them!

Hope you enjoy it!!!  Happy Crafting!!!!
