Dainty Accessories...

This week was a really mess for me. Too many things to do, too many problems appeared…but at least tomorrow is Friday and we have a birthday party in our plans and I hope many walks and coffees with beloved friends and fun with my family and maybe a few hours for myself!!!

I have to admit that since my baby bump is really growing fast (believe me on that) a casual and comfortable outfit is a must! And in order to make it more unique I use dainty accessories. My favorites? Bows! I love them especially if they are small, cute, made by leather in wonderful pastel colors! I have plenty for my daughter’s hair, I have them in jewels, in my favorite cup cozy, in my notebook…

Aren’t they just adorable?

Fashion Trends - Beach Fashion

Good Morning my friends!!!

Friday is already here and soon it will be weekend…yeah! It is really hot here in Greece and tomorrow will be 1stof June so officially Summer is here! The usual problem we have to face with is how ready we are for summer period! And here comes the panic! We have just realised that we have gained a few pounds, gotten out of shape, maybe lost our summer tan. And so what? Keep calm and enjoy the best season of the year with less stress and better mood!

In the warmer, longer, lazier days of summer, the living may not be easy, but your life probably feels less chaotic. Even adults tend to adopt a "school's out!" attitude in summer. And this is what I am suggesting today! Plan your first weekend break by the sea and relax!  Do not think about do’s and don’ts yet!

I do not know if this also happened to you, but sometimes on my vacation I was enjoying the sea so much that I didn’t go to the house to change clothes and then go to the beach party with my friends. Most of the times I was lucky enough to wear clothes that were perfect matched for such an occasion and of course I could even wear them going out for a drink… without the salt from the sea of course (hahaha).

A wonderful minimal shirt with a beautiful short pants in summer colors. Combine them with a small handbag in the same colors and simple, adorable accessories in the same shades and you will “rock”. Floral ballerina shoes are always in fashion, trendy and of course comfortable!

1.Shirt/pants 2.Earrings 3.Shoes 4.Handbag

Open your wardrobe and grab your favorite pieces from last years. The trends, the latest fashions may only add a few jazzy colors, few logos and few statements. The trends change, but the base always remain, so do not worry if you haven’t the time yet for upgrading your wardrobe.

Use your creativity to mix up things to get what you want. Use natural tones for a secure result

1.Sandals 2.Beach Bag 3.Beach Towel

or just search for nautical pieces, which are always on trend.

1.Swimmsuit 2.Beach Bag 3.Hat 4.SunGlasses 4.Ring

Just do not forget to always have with you SunGlasses, big towels and of course sun screen lotion!  Stay tuned with Efzin for more summer trend reports and great tips for this summer!
Enjoy your weekend!

Fashion Trends - Floral Inspirations No2

Hello my friends!

Another weekend is coming so a new Fashion Trends report is active. More Floral Inspirations, but this time we are going to use floral accessories.

For a not completely floral outfit, use floral accessories or jewelry. Items such as tote bags, hats and scarves can add some major color to a look, while jewelry can bring in a light dose of floral fun.

Combine Floral with Neutral Colors. This outfit will be just perfect for every occasion, for the office, for a friendly lunch, for having a drink with your friends or boyfriend.

Have a beautiful Weekend!

Fashion Trends - Floral Inspirations

Hello my friends!

Saturday today and another Fashion Trend post is up. This time we are going to have flowers in our outfit. As usual three different outfits for different occasions.

Floral prints are always classic in the world of fashion and has been loved by many designers. A fashion trend that will never get old, perfect for every season and time of the day or night, if you wear it correctly. It is true that there are plenty floral prints and it is really difficult to choose what to wear. It is important to choose a pattern that works with your personal taste and style. Flower designs can range from dainty and delicate to big and bold, each kind carrying its own personality and character.

If you prefer a romantic or simple or sophisticated style, try looking for a print that features small cute flowers. Use pastel accessories and create a petite girly outfit. If you're the type to rock statement patterns, a print featuring larger flowers will work best for you. Look for bright colors, vibrant designs and eye-catching details.

Once you chosen the floral print, try to wear it with other clothes in a way that will create a cohesive look. For example, pay attention to pattern's colors, choose one or two, then use monochrome accessories or shoes and the bag of course. If you do not want to have a completely floral outfit, use floral accessories or coats or just a shirt and then combine them with the proper accessories. Because floral prints typically come in multiple colors, you’ll have multiple styling possibilities.

Tips:
1. Combine Floral with Neutral Colors
By saying neutral colors we mean black, white, ivory, grey and beige. Ad as with any other print, it is practically impossible for a floral print to not look good with a solid neutral shade. Using neutrals is another styling option to use when you aren't wearing colors found in the actual print. It's also a good "safety" styling method when you aren't quite sure what to wear, but would like to add floral to your ensemble. Imagine what a plus will be to wear a floral scarf or having a floral bag with a monochrome black or white appearance. This outfit will be just perfect for every occasion, for the office, for a friendly lunch, for having a drink with your friends or boyfriend.

2. Use Accessories
Accessories are must for every outfit. Just imagine how many different outfits and styles you can create with the same clothes and different accessories in colors or styles or materials. Even just one accessory is enough to brighten up an otherwise plain outfit. Chain jewelry or accessories in neon or pastel colors can be combined with floral dresses or shirts and will definitely create something unique. For example for a petit romantic outfit, just use pastel jewelry or petit, elegant chain jewels in gold or silver tones. Larger items such as bags, hats and scarves can add some major color to a look, while jewelry and belts can bring in a light dose of floral fun. It’s always a good idea to have several flower patterned accessories in your wardrobe and use them with monochrome clothes or with the right stripes or even with jeans. Even if you don’t plan ahead, a floral accessory is an easy way to add instant style, especially for your office appearance.

3. Wear Floral With Menswear Inspired Clothing
Blazers, straight leg pants and crisp button can look awesome wearing them with floral details. This will prevent your outfit from looking too monochrome and monotonous, and instead create a classy, mature look. You can use this method for office looks, taking care to balance the ratio of neutrals and bright colors.

4. Pastel or Bright colors?
Both… depends of the occasion, from your style and from your mode! Pastel accessories or crochet shawl and with beautiful sandals or ballerina shoes, will give to your floral outfit a tone of romance! Bright colors or even neon colors will transform your appearance and you will definitely be the center of the party. Use your imagination and create a beautiful outfit perfect for yourself!

Monday MoodBoard - Floral Mood

The past weekend my little girl was sick, so despite the fact that here in Greece today is a religion holiday, unfortunately we could not go the short excursion we have planned. No problem at all, since it is better to stay at home and have my sweet Nefeli feeling better.

So instead of sitting in the house and just drawing or playing with the dolls, I bought a few small plants that my Nefeli helped me to dibble. We do have a great time in our small balcony, full of smiles and laughs and yes our mood improved. So what if we stayed inside? I was with people I love and we had a beautiful moments!

That's why my moodboard today is full of flowers.....

If you want to check more moodboards, please click on Estella's blogSorry but I have to go...Nefeli is waiting for me to finish the dibbling!

A!!! Do not forget to participate in the giveaway of my blog with the amazing crafter Eleanna!!

Have a wonderful new week!

Fashion Trends : Mint Green No2

A fashion report by Pineza

Last week’s fashion report was dedicated to mint green. Since spring means pastels and 2013 is all about them, I decided to continue with this fashion tension for once more!
The most crucial question is how to incorporate pastels in our wardrobes and not look like we
are going to an Easter parade! The answer is simple! Follow the tips below and do not overdo
it if you are not sure for the result!

I have chosen a key piece in the first two sets that can be worn all day long and moreover can be combined with clothes and accessories, that you already included in most wardrobes.

Office Outfit
The easiest and most guarantied way to wear pastel tones is to mix them with neutral ones.
Beige and natural shades will help you balance the girly, extra sweet nature of pastels.

 Casual Everyday Outfit
A great way to wear pastel is to combine a pastel pair of jean with a plain white or even black
top. If you still hesitate to get this look, you can combine your favorite blue jeans with a pastel light sweater and your favorite girly sneakers from past years!

 Spring night walks
If you get anxious about your lovely blacks in your wardrobe, do not worry about! Pastel can
always be used separately with full black attire. Add to your little black dress look a pastel
accessory or a statement jewelry piece and create an amazing look. Alternatively, if you
reconsider about pastel jeans, try to wear them with your favorite black leather jacket and
your all time classic pumps. Add some extra pastel details from your beauty case and ready!

Finally, do not forget that the most secure way to incorporate new season’s trends for less is to accessorize your beloved clothes with handmade pieces from etsy!
