Gold Shades....

wow!!! I loved that excursion on the mountain a few days ago with good friends! And we also had a great time with my best friend to shoot these pictures and many more! ok..I have to admit that in the beginning we didn't know what to do...but then we started laughing and things went better and we really enjoyed it! 

Yeap I know... so far I didn't like Gold in Jewelry or in my clothes. But lately I have changed my mind and I love to wear gold shades combined with pastel tones on my clothes. Antique Gold, Rose Gold, Copper like Gold... whatever...minimal accessories that will fit perfectly with any casual or more elegant outfit.

Teal Blue for this Winter!!!

Fashion Trends - Dark with Bright

Good Morning my friends!!!

This is a beautiful season... a step before Autumn but at the same time with a very hot day. So it is easy to wear dark colors in your outfit and to give a sparkle with accessories in a more bright shade.

Fashion Trends - Stackable Jewelry

This year in the jewelry fashion world, the terms “stacking”, “layering” and “stack em’ up” are appearing everywhere. Stacking your jewelry is right on trend. 

The first rule when layering your jewels is simply pick your favorite pieces  and put them on! But if you need a few suggestions, here they are:

- It’s not necessary to always match your colors and metals, it is completely normal to mix your metals (silver, gold & bronze) or mix metal with yarn and leather. Try to build contrast with size and materials your jewels are made from. Fashion Trends - Beach Fashion

Good Morning my friends!!!

 Friday is already here and soon it will be weekend…yeah! It is really hot here in Greece and tomorrow will be 1^stof June so officially Summer is here! The usual problem we have to face with is how ready we are for summer period! And here comes the panic! We have just realised that we have gained a few pounds, gotten out of shape, maybe lost our summer tan. And so what? Keep calm and enjoy the best season of the year with less stress and better mood!

In the warmer, longer, lazier days of summer, the living may not be easy, but your life probably feels less chaotic. Even adults tend to adopt a "school's out!" attitude in summer. And this is what I am suggesting today! Plan your first weekend break by the sea and relax!  Do not think about do’s and don’ts yet!

 I do not know if this also happened to you, but sometimes on my vacation I was enjoying the sea so much that I didn’t go to the house to change clothes and then go to the beach party with my friends. Most of the times I was lucky enough to wear clothes that were perfect matched for such an occasion and of course I could even wear them going out for a drink… without the salt from the sea of course (hahaha).

 A wonderful minimal shirt with a beautiful short pants in summer colors. Combine them with a small handbag in the same colors and simple, adorable accessories in the same shades and you will “rock”. Floral ballerina shoes are always in fashion, trendy and of course comfortable!

Fashion Trends - Color Blocking

Hello my friends!

How was your week? Friday today and I hope you will have a wonderful Friday Night exodus and a great Saturday one. 

For this week's post I have a great help (actually the whole text is written by her) from my friend Vasso from PinezaJewelry. Well...actually this Color blocking is something that Vasso knows very well... I don't! hahaha

So lets start....

One of the most popular fashion trends in last years is color blocking. Color blocking trend is everywhere now, from red carpet events and fashion editorials to the street style and our favorite stores.

Choose the right color combinations and get the maximum effect. Be self-confident and never feel afraid to show off your style imagination and mood. However, do not overdo it, as I use to recommend almost in every trend report.

Moreover, although it seems to be easy combining different colors in our outfits, we have to keep in mind some tips:

1. Most of my reads about color blocking suggest us to follow the rule of the “color wheel”.

2. Use solid colours. You’re already bold with color blocking. Hoewever, if you like to add a pattern while colorblocking, try to keep this to the minimum.

3. Try to play within the range of three colors in one outfit . The fourth one will look  too much.!

4. Be aware of tone! neons go well with neons, while pastels with pastel hues.

5. Accessorize... You do not want to wear clothing which is too bright? Wear just one or two accessories in colors that are striking.

6. Incorporate neutrals. Wear the classic white t-shirt with bold pants or a skirt  and a contrasting blazer!

Fashion Trends - Polka Dots!

I cannot believe that Friday is already here and soon ...very soon...weekend also! This week's fashion trends post is about.... Polka Dots! A fashion that is always trendy and might be loved or hated! 

Polka dots are one of the most playful patterns in existence! They come and go almost every season. Dots can totally change our look and transform any outfit into a chic, romantic and retro look.

The main rule that we have to keep in mind is never to match many pieces with dots! Use them in your accessories with monochrome cloths or a dot dress with monochrome accessories or even one piece with dots and the rest in bright colors or in the colors of the dots!

Polka Dots are practically seasonless  especially in a classic black and white color palette. I chose an dot pants piece and combined it with a fresh yellow leather piece and my favorite blacks!

Black and white is not the only possible combination. You can also choose red or navy blue for a safe and elegant result. A classic spotted sleeveless top on trend peplum design is perfect with a skinny pair of trousers or with a pencil skirt for the office!

Fashion Trends - Floral Inspirations

Hello my friends!

Saturday today and another Fashion Trend post is up. This time we are going to have flowers in our outfit. As usual three different outfits for different occasions.

Floral prints are always classic in the world of fashion and has been loved by many designers. A fashion trend that will never get old, perfect for every season and time of the day or night, if you wear it correctly. It is true that there are plenty floral prints and it is really difficult to choose what to wear. It is important to choose a pattern that works with your personal taste and style. Flower designs can range from dainty and delicate to big and bold, each kind carrying its own personality and character.

If you prefer a romantic or simple or sophisticated style, try looking for a print that features small cute flowers. Use pastel accessories and create a petite girly outfit. If you're the type to rock statement patterns, a print featuring larger flowers will work best for you. Look for bright colors, vibrant designs and eye-catching details.

Once you chosen the floral print, try to wear it with other clothes in a way that will create a cohesive look. For example, pay attention to pattern's colors, choose one or two, then use monochrome accessories or shoes and the bag of course. If you do not want to have a completely floral outfit, use floral accessories or coats or just a shirt and then combine them with the proper accessories. Because floral prints typically come in multiple colors, you’ll have multiple styling possibilities.

 

Tips:

1. Combine Floral with Neutral Colors

By saying neutral colors we mean black, white, ivory, grey and beige. Ad as with any other print, it is practically impossible for a floral print to not look good with a solid neutral shade. Using neutrals is another styling option to use when you aren't wearing colors found in the actual print. It's also a good "safety" styling method when you aren't quite sure what to wear, but would like to add floral to your ensemble. Imagine what a plus will be to wear a floral scarf or having a floral bag with a monochrome black or white appearance. This outfit will be just perfect for every occasion, for the office, for a friendly lunch, for having a drink with your friends or boyfriend.

2. Use Accessories

Accessories are must for every outfit. Just imagine how many different outfits and styles you can create with the same clothes and different accessories in colors or styles or materials. Even just one accessory is enough to brighten up an otherwise plain outfit. Chain jewelry or accessories in neon or pastel colors can be combined with floral dresses or shirts and will definitely create something unique. For example for a petit romantic outfit, just use pastel jewelry or petit, elegant chain jewels in gold or silver tones. Larger items such as bags, hats and scarves can add some major color to a look, while jewelry and belts can bring in a light dose of floral fun. It’s always a good idea to have several flower patterned accessories in your wardrobe and use them with monochrome clothes or with the right stripes or even with jeans. Even if you don’t plan ahead, a floral accessory is an easy way to add instant style, especially for your office appearance.

3. Wear Floral With Menswear Inspired Clothing

Blazers, straight leg pants and crisp button can look awesome wearing them with floral details. 4. Pastel or Bright colors?

Both… depends of the occasion, from your style and from your mode! Pastel accessories or crochet shawl and with beautiful sandals or ballerina shoes, will give to your floral outfit a tone of romance! Bright colors or even neon colors will transform your appearance and you will definitely be the center of the party. Use your imagination and create a beautiful outfit perfect for yourself!
