I just added these new rings to my Etsy shop! They are inspired by the beauty of the sea and its creatures. Memories of hot summer days on the beach! Polymer clay, resin, acrylic paint and... love!

Aegean Sea, Summer in the Alps, The 4 Elements... and a Special Love
These days I was inspired to a few Treasuries that express feelings I have...
First of all a new collection dedicated to the magical Aegean Sea...
One more Treasury was dedicated to the 4 Elements: Air Fire Water Earth! I'm a Libra (Air) born on the Scorpio cusp (Water), my ascendent is Sagittarius, my Moon is in Taurus (Earth) and I have 3 planets in Virgo (Earth)... so I have all these elements in me! And with this collection I wanted to celebrate them all!
My beloved mountains have then inspired this Alpine Treasury! I'm lucky enough to live literally at the feet of the Alps, so this collection is celebrating their beauty in summer time!
And, dulcis in fundo, this very special and meaningful Treasury...
Senza fine
Tu sei un attimo senza fine
Non hai ieri
Non hai domani
Tutto รจ ormai nelle tue mani
Mani grandi
Mani senza fine
Non m'importa della luna
Non m'importa delle stelle
Tu per me sei luna e stelle
Tu per me sei sole e cielo
Tu per me sei tutto quanto
Tutto quanto io voglio avere
Senza fine
La, la, la, la
Senza fine

CREATIVE CORNER
Do you remember my Shahrzad rings? I had used polymer clay rosettes as the focal piece, and I had created them with a mold obtained from an oriental rosette on a beautiful Tunisian bangle. You can see the work in progress here and the finished rings here.
Well, when I looked closely at the wonderful metal buttons on one of my mom's cardigans, I KNEW they would make great molds and... great Greek-island inspired rings!

I grabbed my mom's cardigan and some polymer clay, created a mold, and after baking this mold, I used it to create the focal piece for my new rings!
I added a white hand-shaped base, and after baking the pieces I painted the relief part in blue... and here's the result! A miniature Cycladic church! Welcome to the Greek Islands again :)!
This Week's Treasuries
My work has been featured in a few beautiful Treasuries by lovely Etsy artists this week. The inspirations for these beautiful collections were many, from summer skies to celestial wonders, from summer picnics to personal memories... but very often poetry played a big role.

PAINTED WOOD RINGS
One of my latest passions in creating jewelry is to make painted rings on wood! I had already featured my painted olive wood rings in a previous post, here are some more painted rings on wood! As so often in my work, I have been inspired by the light and color of the Greek Islands of the Aegean, by their flaming summer days and by their breathtaking skies and deeply moving sunsets...
My ANATOLI Ring even had a very special Treasury bearing the same name and created by Anatolian artist Ebru, who creates wonderful crocheted jewelry inspired by traditional Anatolian jewelry and that she sells in her Etsy shop Febystan Designs. This was a great honor for me!

Aegean Sea, Oriental Nights and Enchanted Forests!
With my Treasuries I like to celebrate things I love...
So I dedicated a treasury to the wonderful Aegean Sea that is for sure one of the most beautiful seas in the world...

...and another Treasury to the magical "oriental nights" I have felt in the air in Rhodes, where the geographical closeness to the Anatolian coast of Turkey to the North and to the Middle East to the East has made me feel so close to other, equally magical starry nights...
...and my first Treasury dedicated to another great love of mine: my beloved woods, where I love having long walks enjoying beauty, peace and nature... I was inspired to this collection by my walks in the woods, an enchanted world that is really close to my soul and a part of it...

A special Treasury for my ZOE :)!!!
My sweet ZOE has been featured among 15 other furry friends in this wonderful gallery of Beauties! Is it a beauty contest? No, it's a lovely Treasury by Bijoux dello Stregatto! Zoe is very proud to be in such a sweet and purrrfect company! And her mom too :)!
