December's Birthstone - Turquoise

Hello my friends!!!

December is one of the most wonderful months of the year...isn't it? And why not having also an amazing Birthstone??? Which one? Turquoise of course... I love this stone!

Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral,  a rare and valuable in finer grades and has been prized as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of years owing to its unique hue. Is a beautiful stone that appears in a stream of heavenly colours - from aqua blue to light azure green. It has a pure and uplifting energy, like clear waters in a most ideal natural setting.

In many cultures of the Old and New Worlds, this gemstone has been esteemed for thousands of years as a holy stone, a bringer of good fortune or a talisman ( from Persian and Egyptian royalty to Native People in Americas (North, Central and South America).

Because of its heavenly energy, turquoise is believed to provide not only protection from any negativity, but also a clear connection to the purity of natural elements, especially water and air. The water energy in turquoise can facilitate a better flow of energy in one's body, thus promoting a gentle detoxification and improving the state of one's immune system. Turquoise works beautifully with lapis lazuli, asboth stones bring a pure sea-to-sky energy that is needed for one's growth and overall well-being.

Turquoise can also help one receive higher guidance and direction, as well as live life with more joy and happiness. The calming and uplifting colour of turquoise can bring peace and higher energy to any relationship. Is used as a feng shui cure for attracting wealth and money, as well as a cure to improve one's health and well-being. The calming energy of the turquoise makes it a very good choice for children's rooms (especially teenagers), home office, or the living and family room.

Have a wonderful turquoise day!
