Hello!!!
I am Vasso and I would love to share with you a delicious and easy to cook dish with Chicken and Crushed Grain. A really yummy and healthy recipe! Enjoy!!!
Υλικα για 4 ατομα - Materials for 4 persons
Για το κοτόπουλο
· 2 φιλέτα στήθος κοτόπουλου
· Παρθένο ελαιόλαδο
· Κάρυ
· Πάπριπα
· Λίγο σκόρδο (σε σκόνη)
· Ρίγανη
· Αλάτι
For the Chicken
· 2 Chicken fillets
· Olive Oil
· Carry
· Paprika
· Some garlic (powder)
· Origano
· Salt
Για το Πλιγούρι
· 2 κούπες τσαγιού πολίτικο πλιγούρι
· 4 κούπες τσαγιού νερό
· 1/3 κούπας τσαγιού ελαιόλαδο
· Αλάτι
For the Crushed Grain
· 2 tea cups Crushed Grain
· 4 tea cups water
· 1/3 tea cup olive oil
· Salt
Εκτελεση - Procedure
Τεμαχίζουμε τα φιλέτα μας σε λεπτές σχετικά φέτες. Σε ένα βαθύ μπωλ βάζουμε το ελαιόλαδο τα μπαχαρικά, τα μυρωδικά και το αλάτι και ανακατεύουμε. Στη συνέχεια βουτάμε τα κομμάτια του κρέατος, φροντίζοντας να καλυφθούν όλα τα σημεία τους από το μείγμα μας . Βάζουμε το μπωλ στο ψυγείο και το αφήνουμε τουλάχιστον 2-3 ώρες ώστε να μαριναριστεί καλά το κοτόπουλο.
Cut the fillets in thin slices. In a large bowl mix the olive oil, the spices, the fragrant and the salt. Put the meat in the bowl and try to cover it with the mix. Leave the bowl in the refrigerator for 2-3hours, until the chicken is marinated.
Για το πλιγούρι
Σε μία κατσαρόλα, σοτάρουμε ελαφρά το πλιγούρι μας στο ελαιόλαδο για 1-2 λεπτά. Στη συνέχεια συμπληρώνουμε με το νερό (κατά προτίμηση βραστό) και το αλάτι. Σκεπάζουμε την κατσαρόλα και μαγειρεύουμε σε μέτρια φωτιά μέχρι να απορροφήσει το πλιγούρι τα υγρά (10 λεπτά περίπου).
For the Crushed Grain
In a pan fry the crushed grain with the olive oil for a couple of minutes. Add the water, that has to be hot, and the salt. Cover the pan and let it cook in medium heat until the grain soaks up the water.
Για το κοτόπουλο
Ψήνουμε το μαριναρισμένο κοτόπουλο σε αντικολλητικό τηγάνι ή στη σχάρα, φροντίζοντας να μην το στεγνώσουμε. Εναλλακτικά, βρέχουμε ένα κομμάτι λαδόκολλα, βάζουμε μέσα τα κομμάτια του φιλέτου μαζί με τη μαρινάτα. Κλείνουμε καλά τη λαδόκολλα δημιουργώντας ένα πουγκί, το οποίο το τοποθετούμε μέσα σε ένα ταψί και ψήνουμε στο φούρνο. 5-10 λεπτά πριν το τέλος, ανοίγουμε το πουγκί ώστε να ροδίσει το κοτόπουλο.
For the Chicken
Cook the marinated chicken in a frying-pan or in the grill, but be careful not to let it dry. Another way to cook the meat is to put it in a piece of cooking paper with the remaining marinare. Close the cooking paper and create a small purse, put it in a baking pan and cook it in the oven. 5-10 minutes before we remove it from the oven, open the purse in order for the meat to become rosy-hued.
